I’m Kelly, an artist and illustrator inspired by the wonderfully strange, mysterious, and macabre.
My work draws from the bold shapes, playful geometry, and optimistic futurism of mid-century modern atomic design from the 1940s through the 1960s, blending those retro influences with my love of cryptozoology, mythology, gothic fiction, skulls, and animals—especially cats and dogs.
I work primarily in digital and paper art, creating illustrations and designs that explore the space between the whimsical and the weird, the vintage and the otherworldly. I also love getting my hands dirty with traditional printmaking, including linocut and screen printing.
I love my dogs (Mocha and Kahlua), my cats (Maya, Luna, Jasper, Ember and Autumn), Halloween, and ice tea. I like dippy eggs, not over easy, not over light, not sunny side up, or over medium but dippy eggs.
